With the nasty storms we're getting daily here in Texas, our internet is touch and go. But I can't complain; we're not getting near the amount of flooding as the poor people north and south of us. Since I have a window now where it's working, I'll do a quick post on my Smalls SAL. This is being hosted by Heather of Stitching Lotus.
Christmas Blessings Hope by Lizzie Kate
Oh, funny, I just realized as I uploaded the picture that my little flames are hovering in the air. I forgot to stitch the wicks! Well, for now, I'm calling it done. I'll add those today and update the picture if the internet's working this afternoon.
Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)
I love this hope cross stitching you made. It still looks so nice without the wicks! Lol. Take care and enjoy your afternoon.

It's beautiful, wicks or no wicks, lol.
ReplyDeleteI like this one. Cute finish.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Maybe they're like magical Harry Potter candles?
ReplyDeleteCute finish Kate. I had to laugh when I read what you wrote. I hadn't noticed the wicks missing.

Great finish, I like the floating flames. Keep safe there and I hope the weather improves soon.
ReplyDeleteMagical candles :) Looks lovely!!
ReplyDeleteHa-ha! Well, at least it's an easy finish. Glad to hear you aren't getting so much flooding. I don't watch the news so have only read about the storms through bloggers who have posted. Take care, Tammy
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Kate even without the wicks, glad the storms aren't affecting you too much. Have a great weekend. :) xx
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have noticed the missing wicks. Good that YOU noticed them before making the stitched piece into something, lol.
ReplyDeleteWell done! Live your floating flames!
ReplyDeleteWe are also floating away in our part of TX. Stay dry.
