I've been in a lot of pain this week, so my computer time has been minimal. Today's not so great, either, but I feel bad for neglecting the blog.
I wanted to talk about comments for a minute. I love each and every one from all of you and read them with excitement. I've started replying to them through email instead of through the reply feature because it seems more people get my responses. But that raises a problem with "no reply comment" bloggers, and there are a lot of you! I love reading all of your comments, too, but I'm not able to reply to them. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do that.
I've been making scrunchies for Hope. You can find the free pattern here from Suzies Stuff. From top to bottom, left to right, I used Red Heart Panther Pink, I Love This Yarn Autumn Stripe, Red Heart Grape Fizz, and Red Heart Painted Desert.
I'm linking these up with the May Stashbuster Link Party at Linda's Crafty Corner.
I'm slooowwly working on the Corner to Corner Afghan for my new nephew due in June. I'm finally on the decrease half so, hopefully, that will be finished soon. I haven't decided yet if I want to add a border.
I'm working an on annoying project today. I've needed to do it for awhile but keep putting it off. And it gets worse every time I buy floss. I'm hoping to wind at least a quarter of the box today.
I received a surprise package in the mail Friday. It was from Preeti of Creat-E-witty Unleashed. I opened it to discover some delightful goodies:
This made my day! Thank you so much, Preeti :-)
That's all from me. I'm off to shower and eat lunch and wind thread. And, as always, to chase the Tiny Texas Tornado! (That would be Alex, by the way.)
Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)

I am a no comment blogger. I get too many in my emails to deal with. Don't worry about replying. I just like looking at all the goodies!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects and what a thoughtful gift!
ReplyDeleteI just reply directly to the comments on my blog; seems easiest that way. And hopefully people will find my replies afterwards..:) Lovely new stash!

Lovely presents! Those floss, ooh, makes me want to organize them, lol. I hope you feel much better soon. Take care:)
ReplyDeleteLove the color of the hair scrunchies. The baby blanket looks great and your almost done. I don't envy you winding all that floss. What a great gift from Preeti.
ReplyDeleteLinda
I reply to comments by email unless it's a no reply in which case I reply on my blog. Well try to anyway. I'm like you and have a large amount of thread that needs to be wound. Now that I've seen this I'll probably take it to my hubby's graduation tomorrow and do it while I'm waiting.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you're still unwell. What lovely gifts from Preeti - I'm sure they cheered you up! Good luck with the bobbin winding.
ReplyDeleteSweet little gifts from Preeti :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the bobbins!!
I am glad you liked those gifts:) I love bobbin winding which I do while watching TV but you have so many to do. Have fun !! And get well soon.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better. I get an e-mail with the comments from my blog. I like it better that way.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you are still in pain Kate sending healing thoughts your way.xx I have found the same problem with comments and no reply bloggers I also think that not many of us have the time to go back to see if a reply has been left to our comment and so I have decide not to reply unless it's a question, everyone knows we love to receive comments so I don't think a reply really matters. Hope's scrunchies are lovely so pretty thank you for linking them and what lovely thoughtful gifts from Preeti. take care. xxx
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've been in pain, I hope it eases up soon for you.
ReplyDeleteThose scruchies are lovely, as is the blanket! I'm not a yarn person so I admire anyone who can crochet and knit!
Sorry to hear you are still having such pain. Hard for us to stop when there is so much we want to do. As for comments, I don't think everyone expects a reply so don't stress about it. Some I reply to, some I don't. I don't particularly like replies within comments of someone's blog because there's no reason for me to go back to that particular post. We all have limited time when there is life to be lived and crafts to make. :) Take care, Tammy
ReplyDeleteNice progress on your afghan.
ReplyDeleteWinding thread on bobbins is one of these jobs that are not very exciting but have to be done. I wind the threads that I need for a project, the others just remain as they are.
I hope you will soon feel better.
I reply to all the comments with emails and for those without an email I wait to see if they are going to be a regular commenter. Then I ask for an email address so I can reply in future.
ReplyDeleteI never return to blogs to re-read comments just in case there is a reply, it's all I can do to visit each post once LOL
