Snow!!

OK, I know, the rest of the country is sick of the stuff. But it's not common in Texas, it's been 14 years since I've seen it, and Hope's never seen it. So we're a little excited. It's not even a dusting, and it'll probably be gone by noon, but we think it's cool.
I managed to get a couple of pictures while it was still falling:
A few flakes on the canvas chair on the back stoop
A little more on Sugar's toy
A light dusting on the neighbor's house. The flakes were falling fast at this point.
Starting to cover the pear tree. The snow was fastest here, then started to slow down.
It's hardly snowing at all now, but we thought it was neat :-)

Thanks for reading.
Blessings :-)

    1. We were hoping for at least a little. My husband and daughter are Florida natives, so it's new and exciting to them.

  2. Love the snow.Good to know that Texas gets a little as we are seriously thinking about moving there when we retire and we would certainly miss snow.

    Love the brain image. :-)
    Have a great day!

    1. It's a nice place to live. Keep in mind we're in North Texas, and snow's not that common here. We don't get nearly as much as you do.

    1. Did you get some too? Yes, a little more would have been nice. I didn't want a lot, but maybe if it had just covered the ground.
