There's a holiday for everything, isn't there? Well, according to the Craft Yarn Council, the second Friday in October is I Love Yarn Day. So, besides playing with yarn all day, the best way I can think to celebrate is to have a giveaway.
How would you like to win four skeins of Red Heart yarn? Two in Shades of Brown, two in Carrot. All you have to do is leave a comment on today's post letting me know what you would make with it. I'll draw a winner at the end of the day. Good luck!
Hmmm - maybe a scarf for a guy. They look like hunting colors. Can also make a pumpkin with the orange. Thanks for offering this giveaway. :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say "Hi" and wish you a happy Friday and a cheerful weekend. I think I better forego the giveaway though as my yarn is all in a jumble right now in my less than organized craft room. You are very thoughtful though to have a giveaway and I wish everyone good luck! Heather

ReplyDeleteThis would be perfect for making my lil grandson a trick or treat bag plus a lil pair of mittens. Thanks !
ReplyDeleteI love that Carrot color! I would probably use this yarn for either a Log Cabin or ripple afghan. Happy Yarn Day!
ReplyDeleteHMM I have been wanting to try the corner to corner anything or now that I think about it a scarecrow an pumpkins for a wreath or center piece
ReplyDeleteHi Kate. I would make a corner to corner lapghan. I made one in light blue for a baby blanket and just loved the stitch. Now I want to make tons more.

I'm organizing my craftroom now so I don't need to enter but I just want to say that this is a very nice give away and good of you to do it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for you birthday wishes over at my blog.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really get back to the computer in time to enter or promote your giveaway. :( I'm sorry, because this is both a giveaway that I would have loved to enter and would be a perfect fit for my little October Celebration!
Have a great weekend.
