Winner #2 and Two Tuesday

Winner #2

Wow, that ended faster than I thought it would! I'm so not prepared :-)
Congratulations to Linda from Stitchin With My Furbabies for correctly guessing the Bean's first name: Alexandria. This isn't in honor of anyone; we just thought the name was pretty.
Linda, I still have your address, so I'll be mailing your prize as soon as it's ready.
Thanks, everyone, for participating. I hope you had fun with this giveaway; I really enjoyed all your guesses.
Here's hoping Alexandria Jean decides to make an appearance ASAP; I technically still have three weeks, but any day's fine with me :-)

Two Things I'm Grateful For:

1. The lack of mosquitoes in the evening. This may be temporary, but it's so nice to sit on the back porch in the evening without being eaten alive by little winged vampires. They were constantly finding me in Florida.

2. Competent nurses. I had to give blood again on Friday, and the nurse was able to find the vein and get the sample with no difficulty. That's the second time I've used their lab, and both times were quick and almost painless.

Two Patterns I Think Are Neat:

This is really cute. It would only work for one skein projects, but it's still adorable.

I think you could whip one of these together in time for Mother's Day. What mom couldn't use more baskets?

Thanks for reading.
Blessings :-)

  2. Dang it! I thought I had it for sure. Congrats to winners. That's a really pretty name too. You'll probably call her Alex, huh? So sweet! I hope it's soon so you won't be so miserable. I remember that feeling and it's been 31 years since my last one was born! Yikes! Maybe I shouldn't have admitted that. ;)

    1. Your last guess did make me smile :-) Yes, she'll be Alex. Or maybe AJ once in a while.
Ugh, the last 3 weeks are the worst! Miserable is the perfect word for it. So you had your last one when you were 5, huh? :-)
