Sailor Square Pattern and Scrap Jar Week 2

I edited the picture so it's no longer sideways. I was right; it still looks a little wonky. Nothing a little blocking won't fix.
This is my first time writing a pattern so please forgive any rookie mistakes. I wrote it so my crazy brain can understand it, but if you can't, please let me know and I'll try to help.

Scrap Jar Experiment Week 2

Last Monday, I started with an empty jar.
This is how it looks this week.

I've been working on my granny squares for the granny square-along (click on the afghan on the left under Challenges for details) so I've accumulated quite a few this week. We'll see how it looks next Monday.

Two Bits of Trivia

June 18 is Go Fishing Day, International Panic Day, and National Splurge Day
Only a few species of piranha are carnivorous; most eat plant matter.
