Thanks to my lazy day yesterday, I actually have a little cross stitch progress to show you.
I finished the first sunflower and am halfway done with the second for Sunflower Seeds.
Total stitches so far: 570
I finished the second yellow stripe and the second pink stripe on the Cherished Teddies Roly Polies: February. Total stitches so far: 1131
I'm almost done with the first green stripe on the Cherished Teddies Roly Polies: March.
Total stitches so far: 335
I did a few rows of the tan cat on Cats, Cats, Cats. Total stitches so far: 666
Woo hoo! I finally finished something!! This is the Pretty Baby Cocoon from Dly's Hooks and Yarns. It'll be added to the growing pile of things I need to send to the Guardian Grandmas. I'm a little leery of the post office right now; they lost a package I sent to my friend in Florida. It had dishcloths in it for her birthday, and no one has any idea where it went. I don't always put tracking and insurance on packages, but I will be from now on. This requires getting to the post office during business hours (not an easy task for me) and waiting in a half hour line. But at least I'll know my things arrive safely.
I'm linking this up at the Stashbuster Link Party at Linda's Crafty Corner.
Thanks for reading.
Blessings :-)
You are doing so well with your cross stitching and I love the baby cocoon it's so pretty. It's so frustrating when your parcels disappear without trace, it's happened to me too and not just through the post office. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
DeleteI've never had it happen before, but I'm hoping (ha ha) it's the last time.
Good progress on your cross-stitch projects. I love the purples baby cocoon - it's very pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
DeleteWonderful progress and stitching on all your projects Kate. The baby cocoon is adorable. Have you made lots of stuff for your baby.

Thanks :-) I haven't made as much as I'd like - a blanket and a couple hats. I think my crochet focus is going to switch to the Bean for the next few weeks.
