We had some electrical and internet problems yesterday. Hopefully, it'll work today.
The snow was nice on Wednesday; by Wednesday night, it was all melted. The two inches we got yesterday wasn't so nice. I'm ready for spring.

Okay, I'm done complaining. Can you believe we're almost done with our Mini Rings of Change CAL? It's been so fun. All the blankets and rugs are beautiful; it's amazing how different they all look.
I didn't quite get my rounds done this week; I just started round 34.
My fellow CAL stitchers have been hard at work.

Linda of Linda's Crafty Corner |

We only have 8 more rounds to go!
Let's do rounds 35-37 this week. If all goes according to plan, we should be finishing the week of March 20.
Is anyone interested in a follow-up CAL? Designer Frank O'Randle has a few other delightful patterns including the Mini Spirals of Change.
Let me know if you'd like to make this blanket as a CAL; we'd be starting in early April.
Here are my last three starts for February for the SDUCJFC; starting tomorrow, it changes to the Debbie's Insane Super Duper Ultimate Crazy January February March Challenge (DISDUCJFMC). I'll have 31 new starts for March, one a day. Almost all of them will be on the small side; I have more than enough large charts started.
All three of these are freebies from Kincavel Krosses. If you'd like the charts, just click on the titles.

#57: Oh, Christmas Tree!
#58: Amazing
I usually stick to light colors for my fabric because I have trouble with my vision. I had the black already in my stash from long ago. Tim bought me a big magnifying light for my birthday, so that's the only way I'm able to stitch on the black.
It's cold and covered with ice outside, so it's a perfect stitchy, hooky day.
Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)
Looks like you have been busy making and creating Kate! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

That all looks soooo pretty! Love your afghan and the new starts, too! If you do that Spiral one as a CAL, I'm in!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous Kate!! I so wish my rocket skills were good enough to attempt something like this. Until such time though I'll just ogle and drool over these lovelies

Looking good! Our snow left as quickly as it came. I'm ready for spring also. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteAll the mini rings are looking lovely Kate. I don't much like the snow and ice either but Spring is just around the corner. I will have a think about the next CAL but I think I'm a little bit overstretched at the moment, have a great warm Sunday. :) xx
