For Valentine's Day, we took the girls and one of Hope's friends to the Dallas Zoo. They're having their Penguin Days sale this month, so everyone got in for $5 each. The weather was gorgeous, too, and we all had a lot of fun.
Today is the check-in for the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching. I'm stitching an Elsa chart for Hope.
I only made a little progress on it this month.

I don't have a finished picture to show you; the back cover of the book got cut off sometime in the past. It barely qualifies as a start; I had started it in the morning before we left for the zoo and meant to add some more stitches when we got home, but I was too tired.

This was very enjoyable to stitch; I can see this one being finished very quickly. I have the February one, too, and want to get the rest.
Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)
Great starts and glad you had fun at the zoo!
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching on all your pieces. That looks like a great zoo, hope everyone had a great day out.
ReplyDeleteThanks :-) It was a lot of fun.
DeleteLovely work on your pieces :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fab time at the zoo!
Thanks, Ingrid :-) It was a great day.
DeleteYou post a few stitches but I don't recall seeing any finished projects. Have I missed them? Would love to see some of your finished work.
ReplyDeleteNot really, Charlotte; it's been a slow finish year. I've only finished two crochet projects (both small) and one cross stitch project (also small). My daily craft time has become very minimal since Alex has become mobile.
DeleteLove your new starts Kate. Nice progress on Elsa. Looks like a fun day at the zoo.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Thanks, Linda :-) It was a lot of fun.
DeleteLooks like you had a great time at the zoo with the girls! Love your new starts, too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol :-) We had a wonderful day.
DeleteGreat new starts and the zoo trip photos are beautiful. I love going to the zoo. You aren't too far away from me...just about 5-6 hours.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah :-) That's not too far at all; maybe we'll meet in person one day.
DeleteThanks for taking part in GG this month. And well done on persevering with the Ultimate version of the challenge. Even if it is only five stitches on one day LOL.
ReplyDeleteThe zoo trip looks like a fun day out.
Thanks, Jo :-) I'm still enjoying it. It was a great day.
Deleteloving day out at the zoo.. loving the penguins.. ;)
