Penguin Days, Gifted Gorgeousness, and Starts #45 and #46

For Valentine's Day, we took the girls and one of Hope's friends to the Dallas Zoo. They're having their Penguin Days sale this month, so everyone got in for $5 each. The weather was gorgeous, too, and we all had a lot of fun.

Today is the check-in for the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching. I'm stitching an Elsa chart for Hope.

I only made a little progress on it this month.

Two more starts:
#45: Never Mind the Dog
Source: Leave 'Em in Stitches by Stoney Creek
I don't have a finished picture to show you; the back cover of the book got cut off sometime in the past. It barely qualifies as a start; I had started it in the morning before we left for the zoo and meant to add some more stitches when we got home, but I was too tired.

#46: Calendar Girls January
Source:  Little House Needleworks
This was very enjoyable to stitch; I can see this one being finished very quickly. I have the February one, too, and want to get the rest.

Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)

  4. You post a few stitches but I don't recall seeing any finished projects. Have I missed them? Would love to see some of your finished work.

    1. Not really, Charlotte; it's been a slow finish year. I've only finished two crochet projects (both small) and one cross stitch project (also small). My daily craft time has become very minimal since Alex has become mobile.

  8. Thanks for taking part in GG this month. And well done on persevering with the Ultimate version of the challenge. Even if it is only five stitches on one day LOL.
The zoo trip looks like a fun day out.
