UFO's finished!

I finally finished my Mile a Minute UFOs! Hurray!
For my nine week old nephew

For my friend's birthday
It felt so good to accomplish something big! Deep sigh... Now, what's the next project?
I know I usually reserve new projects for Monday, but you've seen all the new projects I've started: the ripple, the round ripple, the lego, and the yo-yo (pattern found here). But I'm sure by next week, I'll find a new project to start!

I've decided to add a new bit to the blog: trivia. As a homeschool teacher, I am constantly learning new things and I think others should, too. Let me know what you think.

Today's Trivia

June 4 is Salesman's Day, Old Maid's Day, and Cheese Day.
There are four rows of whiskers on a cat's face.
Thank you to a sleeping Mr. Pib for being our model!

Thanks for reading.
Blessings :-)

  1. Very nice afghans. I know that I don't have a set day to blog about certain topics. I try to remember to post a link to an interesting free pattern on Mondays but sometimes I forget (getting old kicking in). When I make a big project like an afghan, I usually take a break and make something small to keep from getting burned out with working on one thing for a long time and then I have something new to put in my blog.I'm enjoying visiting your blog.

    1. Thank you, Sharon! I really enjoy yours, too, especially the links on Mondays. I understand about the need to take a break from the big projects!
      Blessings,
