Another Stashbuster and A Sweater for the Bean

I'm still on the baby crochet kick. Lately, that's all I want to make. It probably has something to do with the Bean and my baby brain (read that as "my inability to focus on anything not baby related for longer than five seconds").
Speaking of the Bean, I made a sweater for him/her. I'm rather proud of it as it's the first sweater I've ever made. If it doesn't fit, I may frame it.
The pattern can be found here at crochevolution. I had the Cafe Latte and Buff yarns (dark brown and light brown) in my stash but bough the Tea Leaf (green) recently, so this doesn't count as a stashbuster.

And I made another cocoon, Stashbuster #22. I used Red Heart Super Saver Pink Camo and another pink yarn whose name I've forgotten.
The pattern can be found here at The Knitless Knitter. It uses all triple crochets so whips up really fast. I took a couple of rows off the top so it's closer to preemie size and added a row of single crochets to finish it. I made the matching hat, too, skipping row 6 to keep the size small.

Don't forget! Today's the last day to enter my two year blog anniversary giveaway by leaving a comment on this post if you haven't already done so.
Thanks for reading.
Blessings :-)

Today's Inspiration

Today is Good Friday, so I'm reminded of the price my Savior paid for me. I pray I never forget the depth of His love.

  1. The little sweater is so adorable. Congrats on making your 1st one. Believe it or not, in all of my 30+ years of crocheting I have never made one. Love the cocoon too - it's pretty with the pinks. :)
