I actually started this just after Christmas, but I'm counting it for this year's totals because most of the work was done this year. I figured with the baby coming in 5 months, I'd better get started making him some things. It measures about 24 inches across, and I used Oh My! yarn from Plymouth. The pattern can be found here.
I finished the hat for Tim. This one should fit him a lot better. It should also be warmer; I used Country Loom, a nice, bulky weight yarn. I made the pattern up as I went; if anyone wants a pattern for an extra large hat, I'll post it.
This Florida girl is still adjusting to the cold; it started out at 18 degrees today and has made its way to 30 degrees. I don't think it's supposed to get any warmer today, so I'm staying inside.
Thanks for reading!
Blessings :-)
What a lovely blanket it's beautiful, how lovely to be making things for your baby I remember I made so much stuff for mine before they were born, I could have opened a shop haha :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :-) It's a new experience; I didn't know how to crochet 12 years ago when my daughter was born.
DeleteCongrats on both lovely finishes. I love the colors in the baby blanket.

Thanks :-) Although I'm not a Florida Gators fan, I'm drawn to orange and blue.

I've been a homebody lately. When the housework and schoolwork is done, the rest of my time I'm crocheting. Thanks :-)
DeleteLove the round ripple - that's one of my favorite patterns. Love the hat too. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :-) I like to make the round blankets lately.
ReplyDeletePretty round ripple. Congratulations on the upcoming baby. How exciting! Heather
