Stitchy Starts #3-5

The new year is off and running, and I'm running with it. I've been able to get my stitching started each day along with working other projects but getting it onto the blog has been a challenge. That's the only thing that concerns me with all the SALs: the posting deadlines. This Saturday is YOTA and Turtle Trot check-ins, and I have a convention all day. My post will either be really early in the day or really late.
Oh, well; it'll all work out. Enough whining :-) On to the pictures.
Start #3: Autumn Quilts
Started stitching the left fence panel

Start #4: Winter Quilts
I didn't feel like starting with the tree, so I started the first quilt.

Stitch #5: Holiday Quilts
It's not in the picture, but the quilt line is attached to two light poles.
Started stitching the left one.

That's it for the quilt book. Tomorrow, I start stitching the remainder of the Cherished Teddies Roly Polys. I have February, March, April, August, and September on my Turtle Trot list. This week is for the rest.
I started my Women of the Bible study today, too.
I like the layout of this book. Each week is devoted to a different woman with a different study aspect Monday through Friday. Of course, the first woman is Eve.

Because I'm insane, I've added another SAL to the pile. Gifted Gorgeousness is hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching. This is the chart I've chosen:
It's a gift for Hope, so it falls under the qualifications. I had started it a few weeks ago but wasn't happy with how it looked on the white aida. I'm restarting it on oatmeal.

Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)

  1. I love all your quilt starts Kate. I'm pretty sure I have all of them in magazines. More to add to the pile.

  2. Beautiful starts, Kate !! I know about posting for SALs but it is just starting trouble, then you get used to it. I have been there for MSherry and Turtle Trot SAL. This year, though I have stitching plans, but doesn't seem I can stitch much.

  3. Ooo I love all the designs! The quilt patterns are SO pretty. Can't wait to see Elsa too!
I am *horrible* at posting deadlines, tho I hope to be better this year. Have you thought about scheduling your posts ahead of time to publish on another day? May be helpful for the days you just can't get to a computer. :-)

  4. Okay, I'm beginning to think you really are crazy. Ha! Good luck with them all. And don't worry about deadlines. Just do what you can, when you can. It's all about having fun. Best wishes, Tammy

  6. You are an ambitious woman! Wishing you success with all you have going on. The cross stitch patterns are neat with the quilts and love the Disney one; we watched Frozen again over the holidays. Take care and have a blessed day, Heather
