D is for...

Blogging A to Z Challenge
DONALD
This is where Linda and I started making changes. The original chart from Cloudsfactory on Etsy has Dopey for D. Nothing wrong with that, but we wanted to use more of the classic Disney characters. So, using other Cloudsfactory charts, we substituted 15 different characters than what are on the original alphabet chart.

And D is for
DMC 996 used for the D
D is also for
DOROTHY'S shoes (start #61)
(There's No Place Like Home chart: free from The Little Stitcher)
Started March 2, 2015
Progress as of April 3, 2015: I finished stitching the shoes
D is for
DIAGONAL DISHCLOTH (pattern here)
I've been feeling really crummy the last couple of days, so I didn't quite finish it.

And D is for
DOOR covered with DRAWINGS
Hope loves to draw horses, so she has her the door (and walls) of her bedroom covered with her art.
Tomorrow's Sunday, our day off, so the next letter won't be until Monday.
Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)

  1. Lots of great D's. When I was 12, a friend and I were determined to write a book about horses. We collected everything we could. Even horse hairs from barbed wire fences. :) We would sit on the floor of her closet and use an old manual typewriter to type up our information. I might still have the rough draft somewhere. Nice that Hope has all her drawings displayed. Have a great weekend. Tammy

  3. Lovely Ds and drawings! When I was a kid me and my friend were writing a book about bits of old pottery we found in our gardens. It was sort of an antique catalogue! Happy times.

  6. Daffey Duck too! What's not to love about Disney Characters, what are you working on? A blanket? Used to do cross stitch, but it's been ages, spend lots of time knitting and crocheting nowdays.

  10. Love the duck man! I did the same with the custom chart I had them create for me...I decided to change characters at the last minute on a couple of letters and just bought the extra charts. Good luck!
