O is for...

http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/
Oh, what a day! We had a lot going on today. This morning was my doctor's appointment; he took more blood and sent it away for more tests, but he seemed a lot more compassionate and more concerned about finding what's been causing my pain and fatigue than the last doctor was.
After lunch, we had a funeral to attend. One of our sweet church members, Miss Vera, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday. She was 87. She lived an amazing life and will be greatly missed.
Late afternoon and early evening were dedicated to grocery shopping, yuck! I like to eat but can't stand doing the shopping.
After all that, I was in a great deal of pain and needed a hot bath, so Tim and Hope put the groceries away and made dinner. I squeezed in a little stitching around 10:00 so I could do my post now (it's almost midnight). I'll have no trouble sleeping tonight!

And O is for...
ORCA
Start #29, started January 29, 2015
Progress as of April 18, 2015:
The fabric is really more of a forest green, not light green as it appears in the photo. And those are black stitches. Funny what a digital camera does to color sometimes.

And O is for...
OREO
He is our only male cat, and he'll be 3 in September. Oreo was born in a barn that belonged to Hope's horseback riding instructor in Florida. Because we handled him so much from birth, he was the only kitten that would let anyone touch him; all the rest of his siblings stayed wild. In the beginning, his name was Zorro on account of his mustache and cape (the black markings on his back), but it was changed to Oreo to match our other animals (they're all named after food except the bird).

Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)

  2. I hope you'll feel better soon. Nice choice and start on the Orca. I'm with you on the chores, I'll be doing some laundry today so it cuts my stitching time (ugh!). Well, what choice do I have, as they say...Laundry today or naked tomorrow.
