S is for...

Blogging A to Z
SANTA'S Twelve Days of Christmas
This was a series I was very excited to start. The charts were a gift from Linda, and, so far, I've started the first four.

S is for
Dr Who SCARF
Digging back to photos of projects I made from a couple of years ago. This is a 10-ft Dr Who-inspired scarf I made for a friend's husband. Never again!! I thought I was going to go crazy working only in single crochet.

SHAWLETTE
Okay, it was supposed to be a shawl, not a shawlette; my gauge was way off on this. But I still love it; it's so pretty and soft. You can find the pattern here. I keep thinking I'd like to make another one but with a bigger hook so it comes out the correct size.

S is also for
SUGAR and SMORES
These are our two mutts. Sugar is the brown Walker Hound/Cur and Smores is the black and white Blue Heeler/Cur. They're both in the "big dog" category. They could knock you down if they tried, and they're fiercely protective of their yard, house and family. But they're also very sweet and loveable (though not very bright).

Thanks for reading and looking.
Blessings :-)

  4. So many good things for the letter S. Santas are always great fun to stitch, particularly the Prairie Schooler Santas.

  6. Hi Kate! Looks like you are making great progress on your cross stitch. Love the Dr. Who Scarf. I've never watched the show, but the scarf is really cool. Your pooches look like they enjoy each other's company. Have a great day, Heather

  10. Great projects! I knit one of those Dr. Who scarves, I think it took me 2 months or more? So much garter stitch...

  12. You completely amaze me that you are working on so many projects. Do you have a special place where you "drop" them when you need to do something besides stitch? Just curious :) Linda@Wetcreek Blog
